Warranty Agreement

Basic Information
For UnifyDrive NAS (Network Attached Storage) products purchased through authorized channels in the United States, (hereinafter referred to as ‘Products’), Unify Data Technology LLC(hereinafter referred to as ‘UnifyDrive) provides limited warranty services to direct purchasers of the Products.

Warranty Terms
This warranty is only provided to UnifyDrive authorized distributors and end users (including individuals or organizations) who purchase directly from retailers or manufacturers.
•The warranty period for the product starts from the purchase date on the customer’s invoice and relevant purchase proof.
•Within the warranty period, if the product fails to function properly, UnifyDrive will repair it or provide replacement parts as necessary. All replaced products or parts remain the property of UnifyDrive.
•Users are responsible for data security. UnifyDrive service centers and authorized repair engineers are not responsible for any data loss, damage, or leakage stored on the product, nor for any resulting losses. It is recommended to back up data and programs before repairs.
•For warranty and post-warranty repair services, customers can contact UnifyDrive directly via email or through the store, retailer, website, or distributor where they made their purchase. Customers seeking repair services must provide purchase proof, product serial number, and warranty card. Customers are responsible for securely packaging products sent for repair to prevent damage during shipping.

Warranty Period
The standard warranty period for this product is two years.

Exceptions
This warranty service will not be valid in the following circumstances:
•The warranty period of the product has expired.
•Products purchased from unauthorized channels/distributors.
•Products that have been self-disassembled (damage to product seals is considered self-disassembly), modified without authorization, or previously repaired by unauthorized personnel or entities.
•Malfunctions or damages caused by incorrect installation or operation (e.g., improper use contrary to provided instructions), or use in abnormal working environments (e.g., excessively high or low temperatures, excessive humidity, high altitude, unstable voltage or current, excessive ground voltage, etc.).
•Malfunctions or damages caused by accidents, misuse (including but not limited to exceeding workload limits), or abuse.
•Malfunctions or damages caused by inappropriate storage (e.g., rodent damage, liquid ingress, etc.).
•Malfunctions or damages caused by force majeure such as natural disasters (e.g., earthquakes, fires, lightning, etc.).
•Damage caused by using self-compiled or privately distributed software.
•Warranty services do not cover hard drives and interface devices purchased by customers themselves, and UnifyDrive assumes no responsibility for them.
